Narana: Geelong’s Award Winning Aboriginal Cultural Centre

Narana offers visitors an authentic, immersive Aboriginal cultural experience right here in Geelong.

Listen and learn about ancient dreaming stories, connection to country through Songlines, artworks, cultural artefacts, bush tucker or learn how to throw a boomerang on their purpose built boomerang range.

Nestled amongst native gardens is the Cultural Exhibition Building and Art Gallery featuring an extensive collection of artworks for sale to suit all budgets. Learn to gather and process native food and medicinal flora as you stroll through the bush-land garden and don’t forget to say hello to Narana’s new kangaroos, resident emus and wallabies.

the wetlands having sprung back to life, it’s now teaming with native birds, frogs and yabbies.

Narana’s inviting retail outlet displays a wide range of Indigenous arts and crafts, books, bush herbs, spices, didgeridoos, boomerangs and many other items.
